As our name indicates, Chicago Luaus focuses exclusively on Polynesian services and products.  If your event revolves around a tropical or Island theme, you have come to the right place.

Chicago Luaus owners and several of our staff were born and raised in Oahu, Guam and other islands throughout Micronesia.  To say that we are familiar with the cultures, customs, foods, and entertainment of Polynesia is an understatement.

Moreover, Chicago Luaus' owners have been in the events industry since 1999 specifically producing events related to the South Pacific. TASTE TEST & CONSULTATION

Chicago Luaus is dedicated to customer service from beginning to end.  To start, we offer every potential client a free, no obligation taste test with our catering manager.  During your taste test, you can sample any items of interest and direct all questions and concerns to our catering manager, Scott Zuziak. Feel free to speak with our chef, Rich Lazaro, about any specific questions relating to the menu.  We also encourage you to speak with our bar manager, Phil Zuziak about cocktail recipes, quantities, safety, etc. We are confident in the quality and authenticity — so confident that we encourage our customers to experience our products and services before they book!

PICK UP OR DELIVERY

We love to offer our customers options.  If you are local, it may be the simplest plan to pick up.  For hosts that are on a tight schedule, we offer a delivery service that includes the set-up.  Delivery fees are based on location and set up quantities.

STAFFING

Yes!  We offer staffing services, providing two options of your choice.

• Service Only: With this option, our staff will deliver, set-up your buffet, maintain/replenish your buffet throughout the event, and finally clean all food preparation and service areas.

• Service and Cooking:  This option includes all the items listed above under Service Only, and adds the delivery of cooking equipment and with chefs/cooks for on-site grilling/smoking.

ENTERTAINMENT

What luau is complete without the hula dancers, fire dancers, lei greeters, tropical bird, and live Hawaiian musicians?  Chicago Luaus has a cast of talented dancers and 6 musicians eager to entertain for your guests.  We are even affiliated with Scottie the Parrot,  Chicago's favorite and most friendly macaw.

LUAU DECOR

Here's a little About Us secret: Did you know that we started life as a Hawaiian Prop and Decor company?  In 2004, we starting building from scratch all kinds of props and decor to meet a previously unavailable-in-the-Chicago-area demand for large and truly spectacular South Pacific backdrops.  With 14 foot high displays of palm trees, tiki statues, and Easter Island figures, by 2005 we became the #1 supplier of South Pacific decor in the Midwest to corporate-sponsored luaus where a unique and spectacular presentation was required.
