Chicago Luaus has a cast of talented dancers, Samoan fire dancers, live Island musicians, strolling ukulele players, lei greeters, DJ's with all the Hawaiian and contemporary music, beautiful hula girls and handsome kane that are ready to lei greet and take pictures with you and your guests!
Our show is nearly identical to a luau show one would experience in Hawaii. Typically, one to eight dancers will perform a variety of dances from the South Pacific with special attention to the Islands of Hawaii, Tahiti, New Zealand, and Samoa in a one hour show.
The dancers also feature a variety of beautiful costumes representative of each island and dance. One of the dancers will double as your MC for the luau show. He or she will navigate your journey through the South Seas with insights, comedy, and audience interaction.
If there is a special celebration, our MC's are experts at incorporating the guests of honor into the show. During the 50th B-day party, you can be assured that the B-day boy will end up on stage, dressed in a hula skirt with coconut bra, & dance the hula with our lovely wahine. Anniversary couples will be honored with the traditional Hawaiian Wedding Song. Graduates, bachelors, retirees, etc will take the stage with our wahine of Tahiti.
Prices for dance shows start at $150 per dancer. A small travel fee will be assessed for shows outside a 15 mile radius of our facility in Des Plaines, IL. Remember, if you are ordering catered items, your entertainment price is guaranteed to decrease. With large orders, the entertainment is FREE.
Our dancers and facility are based in Chicago's Northwest suburbs, just North of O’Hare Airport, but we regularly perform at events out of state and even overseas. Our fire dancers have performed as far as Oahu Hawaii and Shang Hai, China. Our dancers perform regularly across the Midwest and nationwide. Our entertainers have performed nationwide for a variety of clientele including television shows, sporting event pre-game and half time shows, casino promotions, tradeshows, charity events, and many more. Despite these credentials, the majority of our services take place at backyard luau gatherings with family and close friends, and you will get the exact same level of performance as we would do for a celebrity loaded event.
